Job summary

Synapri in the UK is recruiting a Linux Engineer to join an established engineering function. You will work on C++ applications that run on Embedded Linux, building, developing and integrating software that talks directly to the company’s hardware.

The role is hybrid with two days per week in the Derbyshire office, and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with C++.
• Hands-on experience developing software for Linux-based embedded devices.
• Understanding of Embedded Linux environments and low-level application development.
• Experience integrating software with physical hardware or embedded devices.
• Good understanding of Linux processes, system resources and debugging.
• Comfortable working in a technically focused, hardware/software engineering environment.

• Work closely with hardware and software engineers to develop and enhance products.

Synapri are supporting an AV Technology organisation with hiring a Linux Engineer to join an established Engineering function.

This role will work primarily with C++ running on Linux, helping to build, develop and integrate applications that interact directly with the company's hardware. It is suited to an engineer who enjoys working close to the operating system, embedded devices and physical hardware.
