Job summary

Corriculo is seeking an Electronics and Embedded Software Engineer in Burnley to join a technically ambitious team. You will own circuit design, firmware development, and prototype creation across a range of products, delivering robust hardware and software solutions.

You will write and maintain C firmware for ARM microcontrollers, design PCBs with KiCad, and drive concepts from architecture to working prototypes, while supporting ongoing product issues and improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven background in electronics design for regulated environments, including EMC and LVD compliance.
• Hands-on experience developing, testing and maintaining hardware and firmware using ARM microcontrollers and bare-metal embedded C.
• Ability to plan and architect new firmware from the ground up, including building and evaluating prototypes.

Responsibilities

• Own circuit design, firmware development, and prototype creation across a portfolio of products.
• Write and maintain C firmware for ARM microcontrollers and keep firmware up to date.
• Design custom PCBs and validate hardware through testing.
• Help bring concepts from initial architecture through to working prototypes.
• Provide technical support to diagnose and resolve product issues efficiently.
