Job summary

Infleqtion UK is expanding its engineering team and seeks an Embedded DevOps engineer. You will develop and maintain robust testing and deployment processes, including hardware-in-the-loop testing and gateware pipelines, while shaping version control and engineering procedures for production software in deployed systems.

The role involves some on-site hardware maintenance, lab network management, and server administration to support in-house research labs. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Embedded DevOps experience with CI/CD for software plus embedded hardware, firmware or FPGA gateware.
• Strong Linux systems administration, networking, and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Experience with Git-based workflows, automated testing, artifacts repositories and versioned releases.

Responsibilities

• Manage containers and CI/CD pipelines for deployment, testing and traceable updates.
• Configure and manage hardware-in-the-loop test environments and networked lab systems.
• Design and maintain IaC solutions and CI/CD pipelines across software, firmware and gateware.
• Define and enforce software security procedures for production deployments.
• Coordinate lab system management, backups and incident response to maintain high uptime.
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams and document configurations.
