Job summary

Arm in Manchester is seeking a Debugger Software Engineer passionate about producing quality software. You will work with an Agile team to develop Java and C++ based tools, engaging in the full software lifecycle from requirements through to deployment.

This role allows you to implement features for Arm Debugger and DSTREAM probes, contributing to cutting-edge technology with a hybrid working policy that enables flexibility.

Qualifications

• A good understanding and practical experience of Java and/or C++ programming.
• Strong abstract reasoning skills with an ability to focus on key concepts at all levels of detail.
• Deep understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with scripting in Python and using the Linux command line.
• A high level of pro-activity and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Work on the development of Java and C++ based tools within an Agile team.
• Involved in the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Implement new features for debug tools and develop firmware for DSTREAM family's probes.
