Job summary

Intellectual Capital Resources Ltd in Glasgow is recruiting an Embedded Cryptography Engineer to develop state-of-the-art cryptographic software protecting products across automotive, payments, identification, IoT and edge computing.

This is a highly technical role focused on embedded cryptography, security countermeasures and low-level software development, collaborating with security architects, firmware and OS teams, hardware engineers and internal evaluation teams.

Qualifications

• Core experience in cryptography and embedded security.
• Strong implementation experience with cryptographic primitives.
• Proficient in C and Assembly within embedded environments.
• Good understanding of ARM Cortex and RISC-V MCUs.
• Experience with side-channel and fault-injection countermeasures.
• Strong debugging, analysis, and low-level problem-solving skills.
• Experience collaborating with hardware, firmware, OS and security teams; Post-Quantum Cryptography or Rust is a plus.
