Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Kingdom is seeking a senior email design specialist to build a scalable email design system underpinning all email communications. You will transpose existing components into email, identify new patterns, and create responsive templates for CRM, lifecycle, promotions, service and transactional emails.

You will ensure designs meet brand standards and WCAG AA accessibility, create clear guidance and documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams using Figma and

Qualifications

• Experience designing and evolving digital design systems.
• Experience designing responsive email templates and email communication frameworks.
• Experience creating reusable components, patterns, and design libraries.
• Strong understanding of email design best practices and email client constraints.
• Excellent visual design skills with strong typography, layout, and information hierarchy.
• Experience using Figma and modern design system workflows.
• Deep understanding of accessibility standards, including WCAG AA requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of HTML email development considerations.
• Experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
• Unable to offer visa support or sponsorship.

• Identify and create new components and patterns to support communications ambitions.
• Create responsive email templates for CRM and lifecycle communications.
• Create responsive promotional and campaign emails.
• Create responsive service communications.
• Create responsive transactional emails.
• Ensure designs align with brand, design principles, standards, and visual language.
• Create clear guidance and documentation for consistent use of email components, patterns, and templates.
• Create and document the design system in line with the internal Customer Experience Hub's approach and practices.
