Job summary
Nottingham Forest Football Club is seeking a part-time Foundation Phase Coach to support the Foundation Phase Manager at The Nigel Doughty Academy in Nottingham. You will help develop elite youth players within the Academy, aligning coaching methods with the club's pathway.
The role emphasizes technical development, CPD, and safeguarding; you will also assist with administration to meet EPPP requirements and contribute to player development meetings.
Qualifications
- Minimum UEFA B Licence and FA Youth Award required.
- Safeguarding Children Certificate required.
- Emergency First Aid certification preferred.
- FA Coaches Club Licence maintenance needed.
- Experience with youth development phase players is essential.
- Previous academy or Centre of Excellence experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide coaching to develop players of elite quality with an individual-focused plan.
- Plan and deliver innovative training sessions with a player-centred approach.
- Complete administration to meet EPPP requirements and participate in development meetings.
- Model Nottingham Forest FC Academy traits and ensure players behave accordingly.
- Communicate important information to coaching partners about attendance and punctuality.
