Job summary

Nottingham Forest Foundation is seeking Sessional Coaches to support the delivery of high-quality practical coaching sessions across our programmes, including football.

You will work on a zero-hour, seasonal basis, delivering structured sessions, maintaining accurate monitoring data, and ensuring compliance with safeguarding and health and safety legislation. A positive role model, you will engage participants of all ages and abilities.

Qualifications

  • Ability to use initiative and manage own workload.
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to learn.
  • Understanding of monitoring, evaluating and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • IT literate – proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Full, clean UK driving license.

Responsibilities

  • Support the practical delivery of Foundation programmes.
  • Ensure that all delivery is structured and high quality, following the appropriate schemes of work.
  • Ensure that all session data is up to date and accurate on the Foundation's monitoring database (Views/Salesforce).
  • Ensure that all delivery programmes are fully compliant with the latest safeguarding, health and safety and data protection legislation.
  • Be a positive role model and engage people of all ages and abilities in positive activities.
  • Develop and maintain effective positive working relationships with stakeholders and partner organisations.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

We are looking for Sessional Coaches to support the delivery of high-quality practical coaching sessions across a variety of Nottingham Forest Foundation programmes, including football.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience - Essential

  • UEFA C Coaching Certificate or working towards
  • Level 2 Sports/Multi Sports Qualifcation
  • Association for Physical Ecducation (AfPE) Level 3.
  • Understanding the National Curriculum & HE frameworks.
  • IT literate – proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Full, clean UK driving license.
