Job summary

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) seeks a Mens Pathway Physical Preparation Coach to support high-potential players across the England Mens Pathway. You will maximise physical preparation, development and availability, working with ECB Science, Medicine and Physical Performance staff, pathway coaches and counties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years designing and delivering high-performance development programmes.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams in sport.
• Strong understanding of cricket and physical demands on developing male cricketers.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead the delivery of the physical development programme for England Mens Pathway players with multiple stakeholders.
• Conduct physical profiling and ensure consistent testing and reporting to inform development and selection.
• Monitor players using systems to maximise development and availability in collaboration with medical and coaching staff.
• Provide coaching direction at residential camps, assessment days and competitive environments.
• Contribute to short- and medium-term Player Development Plans with county and national staff.
• Support a robust review process for pathway programmes after camps and tours.
• Foster joined-up ECB and county collaboration on workloads and return-to-play considerations.
• Provide on-the-ground support to ECB Super 4s and Bunbury Festival.
