Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking an Emergency Response Team Officer to secure a major client site. You will maintain a visible security presence, conduct patrols, and manage emergency responses including fires and medical incidents.

The role requires a clean UK driving licence, SIA front line licence, and fitness tests. Training for FREC 3 and Breathing Apparatus is provided; shift work includes days, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Valid SIA front line licence (fully funded).
• Ability to pass a medical and fitness test (including suitability for breathing apparatus).
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
• Ability to pass security vetting and random drug/alcohol testing.
• Basic/intermediate IT skills.
• Remain clean shaven to ensure a proper BA seal.

Responsibilities

• Providing a visible and proactive security presence.
• Responding quickly and effectively to fires, first aid incidents, and environmental emergencies.
• Maintaining and inspecting emergency equipment to operational standards.
• Conducting internal and external patrols, searches, and incident reporting.
• Supporting compliance with health, safety, and security policies.
