Job summary

Go North West in Greater Manchester is recruiting for an Elite Driver Academy member to join a team delivering safe, dependable transport across the region. You will operate a bus on busy routes, engaging with passengers and upholding Go North West values.

Training is provided through the Elite Driver Academy, with pay starting at £11.04 per hour and rising to £13.82–£15.67 depending on day and Sunday work. Opportunities exist after a year for higher rates.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Positive, outgoing attitude with excellent passenger communication.
• Willingness to undergo training and obtain a PCV licence.

Responsibilities

• Navigate busy streets to provide safe, reliable service.
• Deliver first‑class customer service with a friendly demeanor.
• Act as a community ambassador and engage with passengers.
• Perform precise manoeuvres and operate challenging routes.
• Collaborate with fellow drivers and staff to meet targets.
