Job summary

Go North West is recruiting bus drivers to serve Greater Manchester, including Bolton, with full-time and part-time opportunities. Competitively paid (£13.45–£20.41 per hour) and supported by our Driver Academy training, you will help people access work, education and essential services.

Join a welcoming team focused on safety, reliability and customer service, with DBS checks where required and progression opportunities across depots.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Good communication skills and enjoy working with people.
• Commitment to providing a welcoming service and supporting local communities.
• Demonstrable commitment to safety, reliability and teamwork.
• Willingness to undergo Driver Academy training to obtain PCV licence where required.
• Some roles may require an Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable and welcoming journeys for customers across Greater Manchester.
• Deliver excellent customer service to people from diverse backgrounds.
• Support passengers to access work, education, healthcare and essential services.
• Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Work with teams to deliver reliable transport services.
• Maintain high standards of safety, punctuality and professionalism.
• Follow company policies and support health and safety culture.
