Job summary

Otis is recruiting an Equipment Field Manager to lead installation/construction projects in the Midlands, Birmingham-based, reporting to the Project Manager. You will coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers and subcontractors to keep projects on time and on budget.

The role emphasizes safety, ethics and quality risk management, customer satisfaction and profitability, with training in technology, processes and soft skills and a company vehicle and phone provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with the elevator and building trades.
• Level 3 NVQ in Lift Installation and Commissioning is ideal but not essential.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Self-reliant with strong computer and organisational skills and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and coordinate with all stakeholders, including owners, architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure that the project runs on time and on budget, monitoring teams and/or subcontractors.
• Work closely with the project team to mitigate safety, ethics and quality risks, including government and legal requirements.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, engineering support and improved profitability.
• Train and monitor the safety, quality and operations of subcontractors, ensuring a standard service delivery.
