Job summary

Otis London is seeking a Field Manager to lead field engineering teams on site, coordinating with Project and Construction Managers to deliver on-time, on-budget site execution. The role focuses on safety, ethics, and financial control while maintaining high-quality service for Otis customers.

The position reports to the Operations Manager and involves coordinating resources, planning, and day‑to‑day site management across one or more sites in London.

Qualifications

• Strong experience of working as an Escalator Engineer, Field Manager or Construction manager.
• Experience in the Lift Industry or Construction industry.
• Experience managing teams of engineers.
• Good planning, problem solving and communication skills.
• An understanding of the importance of delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Managing the field engineering team and people on site ensuring that quality and safety standards are not compromised.
• Work with the Project and Construction Managers to ensure that the site execution plans, methods and tooling are fully developed and all resources are allocated to achieve the project deliverables.
• Ensure the 3 key absolutes of Safety, Ethics and Financial Control are maintained at all time.
• Managing projects on time, within budget and in accordance with the contract scope
• Regularly monitor and review progress against plan and take action to mitigate delays and claims.
