Job Purpose

To test all main assemblies and sub-assemblies, including PCBs, following established test procedures. Ensure timely completion of testing and maintain high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Test and repair products as prioritized by the department team leader.
2. Possess good knowledge of electrical and electronic components and principles.
3. Maintain and generate test procedures and build documentation.
4. Test PCBs or assemblies to component level according to procedures and quality standards.
5. Maintain, repair, and help design test equipment.
6. Identify build or design faults and report to the team leader.
7. Raise change requests to improve product quality or efficiency.
8. Support training by sharing knowledge and skills.
9. Interpret electrical drawings effectively.
10. Ensure soldering and electrical wiring meet high standards.
11. Use crimp tools, receptacles, sleeving, and heat shrink materials proficiently.
12. Operate fibre optic termination equipment and testing tools.
13. Maintain a safe, clean working environment adhering to 6S and health & safety policies.
14. Use judgment and initiative to solve daily challenges.
15. Maintain proficiency in relevant IT systems.
16. Act ethically and professionally, supporting team and departmental objectives.
17. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the team leader or Manufacturing Manager.
