Job summary

Thales in Crawley seeks an Electronics Test Team Leader to guide a skilled assembly and test/repair team, coordinating workloads and ensuring delivery against quality and cost targets. You will collaborate with the APRU/Cell Manager to optimize processes, support daily SIM meetings and maintain documentation.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving and leadership skills, with prior experience in manufacturing and familiarity with MRP/PDM systems.

Qualifications

• Good standard of general education.
• At least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of MRP/PDM system principles.
• Manufacturing methods and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support a team of assembly and test/repair personnel.
• Ensure production and repair activities flow efficiently to meet delivery plans.
• Support resolution of issues impacting quality, cost and delivery objectives.
• Promote adherence to manufacturing processes and work instructions.
• Drive continuous improvement and employee involvement.
