Job summary

Thales Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an Integration and Test Technician at our site in Cheadle. You will perform electrical and electronic assembly operations, support integration, and supervise testing to ensure products operate reliably while cost is prioritised.

Ideal candidates have production-test experience, can read circuit diagrams, understand through-hole and surface mount tech, diagnose faults to component level, and hold an HNC/HND in Electronics.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Test in a production environment.
• Able to read circuit diagrams and engineering drawings.
• Strong knowledge of through-hole & surface mount tech.
• Skilled in fault diagnosis and repair down to component level.
• HNC/HND in Electronics or equivalent.
• Confident user of MS Word & Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform Electrical, Electronic assembly operations as defined by routings, manufacturing instructions, wiring schedules and drawings
• Identify, log and diagnose faults, ensuring all build documentation is accurate and complete
• Uphold workshop standards by properly using and maintaining production tools and equipment
• Ensure production equipment and tools are used and maintained to the required workshop standards
