Job summary

Computer Futures is seeking an Electronics Test Support Engineer in Eastbourne to provide hands-on support for ICT, ATE, and functional testing within a busy electronics manufacturing environment. You will diagnose faults, perform maintenance, and collaborate with Test Engineering and Operations to improve test reliability.

The role involves working with ICT/ATE test systems, fixtures, and probes, plus keeping detailed fault records and supporting engineering changes.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics production, manufacturing test or similar environment.
• Knowledge of ICT and ICT/test stations.
• Exposure to Keysight i3070 would be beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for ICT and functional test stations.
• Troubleshoot test equipment, fixtures, probes, cables and measurement issues.
• Support operation and maintenance of Keysight i3070 test systems.
• Carry out fault finding and basic repairs on test equipment and hardware.
• Diagnose false failures and fixture/contact problems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximise test equipment availability.
• Investigate production test failures and recurring issues.
• Support engineering changes affecting test systems and fixtures.
• Assist with test station improvements and upgrades.
• Work with senior Test Engineers on complex problems.
• Maintain records of faults, repairs and recurring issues.
