Job summary

Edwards in Eastbourne, United Kingdom, is seeking an Electronics Test Support Engineer to maintain ICT and functional test stations on the production floor. You will work with the Test Support Engineering team reporting to the Test Engineering Manager to troubleshoot equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and support continuous improvement to keep testing stable.

You will collaborate with Engineering and Operations, resolve day-to-day ICT issues, and help drive reliability improvements.

Qualifications

3 years in a production test engineering environment.
Experience with automated test systems for electronics/electromechanical products.
Background with ICT test stations and tooling.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day support for ICT and functional test stations on the production floor.
Troubleshoot ICT-related issues including fixture, probing and measurement problems.
Support operation and upkeep of Keysight i3070 test systems.
Carry out fault finding and basic repair on test equipment, fixtures and cables.
Perform preventative maintenance to improve reliability and minimise downtime.
Support investigation of First Time Test Failure Rate (FTTFR) issues.
Assist with engineering changes affecting test systems and fixtures.
Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to meet production needs.
Escalate complex ICT issues with structured fault analysis.
