Job summary

ZENOVO in Edinburgh is seeking an Electronics Technician to join a hands-on production team. You will assemble electronic components, perform soldering, wiring and cable tasks to a high standard in a technical manufacturing environment.

The role requires practical experience with electronics components, PCB assembly, and reading wiring diagrams. Applicants should be reliable, methodical and able to work independently or as part of a team. Note: sponsorship is not available for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics assembly and soldering.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or wiring diagrams.
• Attention to detail and quality-minded approach.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assembling electronic components and equipment.
• Carrying out soldering work on circuit boards and assemblies.
• Wiring, crimping and terminating cables and connectors.
• Reading and following technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Inspecting and testing assemblies for quality and accuracy.
• Identifying and reporting faults or defects during production.
