The Role

We're seeking an enthusiastic Electronics Technician to join the production team onsite in York. You'll work closely with the Production Manager, Test Engineer, and Apprentice in a hands‑on role where your skills will be key to delivering high‑quality systems.

Responsibilities
  • PCB Assembly & Testing – Check new PCBs for functionality, build assemblies, integrate plastics and wiring, and mount into metal housings.
  • Fault Finding – Carry out component‑level troubleshooting, including soldering and repairs.
  • Quality Control – Test completed assemblies before dispatch and perform testing on returned rental equipment.
  • Team Collaboration – Work alongside colleagues to meet deadlines and maintain high production standards.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong knowledge of electronics, assembly, and testing.
  • Hands‑on experience with soldering and fault finding to component level.
  • A detail‑oriented approach and strong problem‑solving skills.
  • A full driving licence (due to site location).
  • No formal degree required – practical experience is what matters most.
