Job description

The One Group is proud to be working with a global technology business that delivers intelligent propulsion systems across the Automotive, Aerospace, and Marine industries. They are seeking an Electronics Technician to join their Test and Electronics team based in Northampton.

You will have the opportunity to work on various projects supporting and maintaining test facilities and multiple engineering programs. The role involves responsibilities such as manufacturing, testing, inspection, and servicing of wiring looms, sensors, and actuators. You will also perform fault finding and repairs on wiring harnesses, electromechanical actuators, and sensor harnesses, as well as testing and servicing electrical and electromechanical engine components during rebuilds.

The ideal candidate will be competent in wiring harness assembly to motorsport or military specifications, using products like Deutsch Auto-Sport and Raychem. Basic mechanical fitting and assembly skills are also required. An electronic qualification will be a distinct advantage.

The position offers working hours from Monday to Thursday, 07:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday, 07:30 am to 3:30 pm, with overtime available during busy periods. A competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and the opportunity to join a globally recognized company are on offer.
