The One Group is proud to be working with a global technology business that delivers intelligent propulsion systems across the Automotive, Aerospace, and Marine industries. They are looking to lead the new propulsion area and are seeking an Electronics Technician to join their Test and Electronics team based in Northampton.

You will have the opportunity to work on various interesting projects to support and maintain all test facilities and multiple engineering programs. They are looking for talented individuals with the same drive and passion to join them.

Working within a pivotal part of the business, your responsibilities will include manufacturing, testing, inspection, and servicing of wiring looms, sensors, and actuators. You will fault find on wiring looms, electromechanical actuators, and sensor harnesses, then undertake repairs with the necessary equipment. Testing and servicing electrical and electromechanical engine components during engine rebuilds will also be part of this role.

The client seeks individuals competent with wiring harness assembly to motorsport or military specifications, using products like Deutsch Auto-Sport and Raychem, as well as basic mechanical fitting and assembly skills. An electronic qualification will be a distinct advantage.

This role operates Monday-Thursday from 07:30 am to 4:30 pm and Friday from 07:30 am to 3:30 pm, with overtime available during busy periods. A competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and the opportunity to join a globally recognized company are on offer.
