Job summary

KO2 Embedded Recruitment Solutions Ltd partners with a fast-growing power electronics engineering business in Norwich to recruit an Electronics Technical Leader. This is a leadership-led role with coaching and delivery responsibility across hardware projects.

You will lead a team of five electronics engineers plus a technician, coordinating with software/controls and senior leadership to implement pragmatic SME processes and drive delivery of inverters, motor controllers, DC-DC converters and

Qualifications

Proven experience leading or managing a hardware/electronics engineering team in SME or fast-growth environments.
Background in power electronics product development across inverters, DC-DC converters, motor controllers or chargers.
Strong leadership skills with track record of developing engineering teams and remote management.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop a hardware/electronics team of ~4–5 engineers and a technician.
Own risk and issue management across hardware and electronics projects.
Implement engineering processes suitable for a fast-growing SME, avoiding over-engineering.
Translate technical progress for senior leadership and stakeholders.
Support and guide delivery of power electronics projects across automotive and related sectors.
Collaborate with senior leadership on project direction and resourcing.
