Job summary

Artemis Clarke Ltd in Crayford is recruiting a Production Supervisor to oversee a manual PCB assembly team in a busy manufacturing environment. The role is full-time and permanent, offering a salary of £32,000–£34,000 per year, with hours from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours).

The successful candidate will lead daily production planning, enforce Health & Safety policies, organise a team of around 30 assemblers, and communicate effectively with other department heads.

Qualifications

• Supervisory/leadership experience - ideally electronics industry.
• Supervisory experience of a manufacturing/assembly team - 10+ personnel
• Good level of education
• Computer literate

Responsibilities

• The Production Supervisor must be goal driven and ensure that all production expectations and demands are met and ensure customer needs are achieved in an on-time manner.
• Responsible for daily production and planning in their area - adhere to company policies and procedures - H&S etc.
• Organise production team - c30 manual PCB assemblers
• Provide leadership and direction to the production team
• Good communication skills verbal and electronic (Email and Teams).
• Must be able to multitask.
• The Production Supervisor must be able to communicate with other department heads and must ensure that all policy and procedures are being adhered to.
• Must be hands on and be able to support team members
• Training of new staff - dealing with HR related issues - absence, lateness, booking holiday etc
