Job summary

Artemis Clarke Ltd near Dartford is seeking a Production Inspector (electronics) for a permanent, full-time role reporting to the Quality Manager. Inspectors ensure non-conforming product feedback reaches the Production Supervisor and Operators.

Responsibilities include visual inspection of PCBs, adherence to IPC 610 standards, and maintaining a safe, compliant work area while performing First Offs against BOMs and customer specs.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics manufacturing preferred.
• IPC-A-610 knowledge preferred.
• Able to identify components including resistor colour codes.

Responsibilities

• Full visual inspection of key areas in conventional build before release.
• Follow health and safety requirements and anti-static procedures.
• Use inspection tools (magnifiers, etc.) for PCB manufacturing.
• Interpret manufacturing documents and IPC 610 standards.
• Highlight discrepancies to Quality Department and Production supervision.
• Keep the work area clean, tidy and safe at all times.
• Carry out First Offs against BOMs and customer specs.
