Job summary

Leonardo S.p.A. in Basildon is offering a 13-week Summer Placement for an Electronics Engineer. You will support the design, development and测试 of our electro-optical and information system products under guidance from experienced engineers.

Collaboration across disciplines will enhance your understanding of the product lifecycle and exposure to real-world projects. The role focuses on building skills for professional engineering, with opportunities to work on circuits, FPGA design and substages

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or similar.
• Experience with PCB design and simulation tools is desirable.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of electro‑optical, communications and information system products under guidance.
• Interface with engineers from multiple disciplines including Mechanical, Software and Systems.
• Assist in circuit, FPGA and firmware design, documentation, verification and integration support.
