Job summary

SF Partners is seeking a senior electronics engineer to own products from schematic and PCB design through bring-up, testing, certification and production. You'll work across analogue, digital, power and high-voltage circuits, with emphasis on safety-critical systems and high-speed interfaces.

You will prototype, test, debug and collaborate with software, suppliers and manufacturing teams to deliver robust boards.

Qualifications

• Strong schematic and multi-layer PCB design experience.
• Analogue and power electronics skills.
• High-voltage and safety-critical circuit experience.
• High-speed digital design and signal integrity knowledge.
• DFM/DFT and production test experience.
• BOM, wiring and harness experience.
• Hands-on prototyping, soldering and board bring-up.
• Fault-finding and root cause debugging skills.
• 2:1 or above degree in electronics preferred; exceptional candidates considered.

Responsibilities

• Own schematics and multi-layer PCB layout in Altium.
• Design analogue and power electronics, including high-voltage circuits.
• Develop safety-critical gas ignition and flame-sensing circuitry.
• Implement high-speed interfaces (Ethernet, HDMI, LVDS, USB, SDIO).
• Plan Bluetooth/Wi-Fi integration and antenna layout.
• Select SoM and MCU; address thermal, EMC and grounding.
• Support DFN/DFT, production test fixtures and automation.
• Create BOMs, wiring diagrams and cable harnesses.
• Prototype, solder, rework and bring-up boards; debugging.
• Maintain supplier relationships and gather certification evidence.
