APRIL QUEST LIMITED is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer to take designs from schematic concepts through to working PCBs ready for production. You will be hands-on, building and testing prototypes and refining designs across analogue, digital, and power electronics.
The role involves collaboration with Manufacturing, Test and Quality teams and contributing to design reviews. We value engineers who can own their designs and bring practical testing experience.
If you enjoy taking a design from schematic through to a working circuit board, this role offers plenty of hands‑on engineering and a strong pipeline of new products. An established technology manufacturer is looking for an Electronics Design Engineer to join its small engineering team. The business has an international customer base, and you'll have the chance to see your designs through from initial concept to manufacture. This role would suit an engineer with a few years' experience in schematic and PCB design. You'll work mainly on new products, alongside some improvements to existing designs.
You’ll be hands‑on electronics engineer who enjoys both design work and practical testing.
The team uses KiCad, but experience with another PCB CAD package is welcome. Power electronics experience would be useful, with support available to develop this area. Familiarity with Linux command-line tools, C/C++, VHDL, FPGAs or SoCs would be an added advantage.
The role offers flexible working arrangements, a company bonus, private medical insurance, a pension with employer contributions of up to 8%, and 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays.
