Job summary

MBDA in Stevenage is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join the Calibration & Maintenance Team. You will service electrical and electronic test equipment, including Special to Type Test Equipment (STTE), across the production life cycle.

You will work with a seasoned team to calibrate, commission, and diagnose faults, ensuring equipment reliability for missile system testing. Excellent analytical skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: HNC/HND in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Experience and knowledge in the calibration of test equipment and maintenance of test systems to component level.
• Able to use instructions, handbooks, drawings or specifications to provide technical advice and perform measurements/repairs to component level.
• Good understanding of calibration principles and processes.
• Able to mentor other or more junior staff when requested by line manager.
• Able to deal with multiple issues, tasks and priorities concurrently; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; knowledge of SAP is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and maintain test equipment and STTE.
• Support complex test platforms during manufacture and test.
• Perform fault finding, drift analysis and repair of test equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and support functions to resolve issues.
