Job summary

Thales Group is offering an Electronics Engineering Degree Apprenticeship in the UK. You will learn electronics design, integration, testing and troubleshooting while working with qualified engineers on real programmes. The role includes hardware assembly, test verification, and documentation under security and quality controls.

You will study towards a Level 6 BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering with Exeter University, progressing from fundamentals to advanced topics over four years.

Qualifications

• A Levels ABB including a B in Maths and a Science subject.
• BTEC Extended Diplomas considered in listed subjects.
• T Level (Distinction) considered.
• GCSEs: minimum five grades 4-9, including English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Build and integrate hardware from breadboards to production‑relevant modules.
• Test and verify equipment using standard lab tools; document results.
• Troubleshoot issues found during lab testing, system integration or trials; implement fixes.
• Document engineering work: test reports, records, reviews.
• Work in a safety/quality environment with configuration control and standards.
