Thales in the UK is recruiting a 2027 Software Engineering Apprentice—Level 6 Digital and Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship, tied to Exeter University. You will study for a Level 6 degree while gaining hands-on software engineering experience in our team.

The programme runs 37 hours per week with a £24,000 salary, leading to a permanent role and tuition paid. You’ll learn C++/Java in an agile setting and develop professional skills.

Qualifications

• Three A Levels at B or above or equivalent
• BTEC Extended Diploma (DDM) or Level 4 Digital Apprenticeship
• Minimum of five GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including English and Mathematics

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of software solutions and work with engineers
• Develop software with industry standard languages
• Contribute to development of secure, quality software within timescales and budget
