Job summary

Thales in Crawley offers a 4-year Level 6 Electrical and Electronic Engineering Degree Apprenticeship with Exeter University. You will study while gaining hands-on experience in our Industry team, testing and repairing deliverable systems and sub-assemblies.

You will learn RF, electronics, blueprints, and industry standards, with on-the-job training, university modules, and a final BEng degree. The programme includes security checks and a permanent role on completion.

Qualifications

• Three A Levels at ABB, including Maths and a Science subject.
• BTEC Extended Diploma in Engineering/Science options.
• T Level (Distinction) required subjects listed in ad.
• Minimum five GCSEs, including English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Test and diagnose complex faults on deliverable customer systems and sub-assemblies.
• Coordinate activities to ensure testing meets delivery dates, quality and costs.
• Present Systems for customer acceptance and trial demonstrations.
• Represent Thales in customer-facing settings on and off-site.
• Provide test methods and procedures to support System and LRU testing.
