Job summary

Thales Group is offering a four-year Degree Apprenticeship Programme in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in the UK, with study at Exeter University. The first year covers core engineering theory and practice, followed by advanced topics, to deliver a BEng and a Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship.

Applicants should have ABB A-Levels (Maths and Science), eligible GCSEs, and the ability to obtain UK security clearance.

Qualifications

• Three A Levels ABB, including Maths and a Science subject.
• BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science or Engineering may be considered.
• T Level Distinction: Eng/Manufacturing and related subjects.
• Minimum of five GCSEs at grade 4/C or above including English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Test and diagnose complex faults on deliverable customer systems and sub-assemblies.
• Coordinate testing to meet delivery dates, quality and cost targets.
• Present systems for customer acceptance.
• Represent Thales for customer systems on/off-site, including trials and acceptance tasks.
• Provide test methods and procedures for system test.
