Job Title: Electronics Engineer

About the role

The Gravity Media RF department is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our workshop team, focusing on the development and servicing of bespoke broadcast and RF equipment, from specialist cable harnesses to custom-designed wearable miniature cameras. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our engineering and project management departments.

A brief summary

This is a junior position offering candidates the opportunity to develop their skills within a committed and experienced engineering team. The role reports to the Workshop Manager, with additional reporting to the Technical Director. The position is based at the Gravity Media RF department in Dartford, Kent.

What you'll be responsible for

Key responsibilities:
  • Manufacture and repair of specialist cables
  • Mechanical and electronic repair of broadcast equipment
  • Prototype design and small-scale production of custom audio, video, and RF systems
  • Documentation of repair and manufacturing procedures
Essential Skills:
  • Basic electrical and electronics knowledge
  • Basic mechanical skills and ability with hand tools
  • Problem-solving skills with a systematic approach
  • Ability to document progress and results
