Job title: Electronics Design Engineer
Location: Wigan (Greater Manchester)
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum

Salary on offer: The salary on offer for the Electronics Design Engineer is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on skillset and experience.

Summary of the Electronics Design Engineering role: The Electronics Design Engineer will take a pivotal role in the company engaging responsibility for full product design lifecycle development across Electronics Hardware Design & PCB Design.

Electronics Design Engineer Key Skills:

1. Minimum of 2-5 years industry professional experience
2. Electronics Circuit Design (analogue & digital)
3. PCB Design & Schematic Capture
4. ECAD Packages – Altium, OrCAD, KiCAD or similar PCB Software
5. Network interfaces – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, CAN, RS232/485, Bluetooth, WI-FI, Zigbee, Lora, RF, Cellular
6. Experience of microcontrollers – STM32, Microchip PIC, ARM etc
7. Embedded C – Bonus but not essential
8. Knowledge & experience of DFM, DFC, DFT, EMC testing
9. Circuit simulations tools – LTSpice, SIMetrix or similar
10. Practical skills - prototype (circuit) design, build, testing, debugging, soldering, system fault finding
11. Good teamwork and communication skills
