Job summary

Paxton Access Ltd in Brighton is seeking an Electronics Assembly technician to join our expanding manufacturing team. You will work through the build process of PCBs, using automated SMT machinery and in-house test systems to assemble, rework and test sub-assemblies.

The role is a day shift, Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm, with opportunities to learn and contribute to process improvements in a collaborative environment at Paxton.

Qualifications

• Team player with strong collaboration and communication.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing or SMT/PCBA preferred.
• Interest in how products are made and willingness to learn processes.
• Attention to detail with focus on quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Follow the PCB build process and work with SMT machinery.
• Assist with BOMs and material preparation for assembly.
• Operate and monitor automated and manual assembly equipment.
• Break-out and test PCBA units using in-house test systems.
