Job summary

ASL Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Skilled Assembly Operative for our clients in Hastings, East Sussex. You will assemble small components and circuit boards following technical diagrams, with attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.

The role involves wiring, quality checks, and a degree of soldering. Soldering is desirable but not essential. Temporary to permanent contract with overtime opportunities and weekly hours Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable assembly experience within engineering industry
• Excellent attention to detail and good hand to eye coordination
• Ability to read and follow technical diagrams
• Be a strong team player
• Soldering experience is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Intricate assembly of small components and connectors
• Assembly of circuit boards
• Wiring
• Checking quality and quantity of work
• Following technical drawings correctly
• Maintaining a tidy work space
• A small part of soldering could be required
• Assisting in other departments as and when required
