Job summary

Pertemps Swindon is recruiting an experienced Assembly Technician for a manufacturing client in Swindon, SN2. The role offers £35,000 per annum on an ongoing temporary basis, with Monday–Friday 7am–4pm shifts.

You will follow strict SOPs to manufacture electronic products, trouble-shoot production issues, and handle tools such as torque wrenches, micrometres, screwdrivers and saws. A background in electronics/wiring, soldering, and SC clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Proven recent experience in electronic and/or wiring production environments.
• Experience with soldering, wiring looms and wire harnessing.
• Excellent knowledge of following strict SOPs and quality standards.
• Able to successfully pass SC security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Follow strict processes to manufacture electronic products to required spec.
• Work within the legal parameters to problem solve when identifying issues in production.
• Use a range of standard and non-standard production tools including torque wrenches, micrometres, screwdrivers, saws etc.
• Complete multiple processes and tasks each day.
• Be an active member of the team to drive R&D and Manufacturing.
