Job summary

Pertemps Swindon are recruiting for an experienced Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing client in Swindon, SN2. The role offers £35,000 per annum with ongoing temporary work (minimum 3 months) and a 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday schedule.

Successful candidates will be subject to BPSS and security clearance. The job involves following strict SOPs, assembling electronic products, and using standard/non-standard production tools such as torque wrenches, micrometres, screwdrivers, and saws;

Qualifications

• Proven recent experience within an electronic and/or wiring production environment.
• Background with soldering, wiring looms, wire harnessing.
• Excellent knowledge of following strict SOPs.
• High standard of attention to detail and compliance driven.
• Able to successfully pass Security Check (SC) clearance.
• Follow strict processes to manufacture electronic products to required spec.

Responsibilities

• Follow strict processes to manufacture electronic products to required spec.
• Work within the legal parameters to problem solve when identifying issues within production.
• Use a range of standard and non-standard production tools including torque wrenches, micrometres, screwdrivers, saws etc.
• Complete multiple processes and tasks each day.
• Be an active member of the team to drive R&D and Manufacturing.
