Job summary

Orion Electrotech in Swindon is seeking a skilled Assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble electronic and electromechanical products, including PCBs and wiring harnesses, following technical drawings and production documentation to ensure high quality.

This permanent role offers a Monday to Friday 9:00am–5:00pm schedule, a salary of £30,000–£40,000 DOE, and benefits including pension, private medical cover and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays in a modern facility.

Qualifications

• Experience with manual assembly and soldering equipment.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and production documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Proactive and reliable approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Solder a wide range of components
• Assemble PCBs, wiring harnesses, and electromechanical builds
• Follow build instructions, technical drawings, and production documentation accurately
• Complete assembly work to quality and production standards
• Support continuous improvement and maintain a safe working environment
