Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting an Electronics Assembly Technician to join our client’s production team in Salisbury. The role involves mounting electronic parts onto PCBs, hand soldering SMT and through-hole components, inspecting assemblies, and reading drawings, blueprints and schematics.

You should have manufacturing or assembly experience, be detail-oriented, able to follow instructions, and work well in a team.

• Manufacturing, production or assembly experience.
• Experience with hand soldering and operating electronic test equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in finishing to a high standard
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently, and follow instructions
• Positive, reliable and hardworking approach

Responsibilities

• Mount and secure electronic parts, microchips, and wires onto PCBs and into larger casings using hand tools and soldering equipment.
• Hand-solder components using Surface Mount Technology (SMT) or through-hole techniques.
• Inspect finished assemblies for defects, test functionality and troubleshoot basic faults.
• Be able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and schematics

Job Details:

• Immediate Start
• Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:15pm
• Early Friday finish
• £14.56phr
• On-going Opportunity
