Job summary

UBS is seeking a hands-on Electronic Trading Risk Manager to evaluate and supervise risk controls around electronic trading. You will work with ET, COO, Technology, and Compliance to strengthen execution risk management and ensure robust governance across markets.

Ideal candidates bring experience in electronic trading risk, familiarity with market structures, and the ability to handle complex data projects in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Electronic Trading within a bank or asset manager.
• Familiarity with equities, fixed income markets, regulation and risks in electronic trading.
• Understanding of market structure and its impact on control effectiveness.
• Regulatory/control-driven remedial program experience.
• Proven ability to work with complex datasets and deliver small technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate risk related to electronic trading, focusing on market impact and disorderly trading.
• Oversee front-office execution controls, including controls, thresholds, processes, and procedures.
• Evolve the electronic trading control framework and global programs.
• Coordinate and present at supervisory and governance forums/committees.
• Support Equities and Fixed Income, collaborating with ET business, COO, Technology, Compliance and other Controls to enhance risk management.
