Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in Electronic Trading, IT or Quant roles at a bank or asset manager.
• Familiar with equities and fixed income regulation and electronic trading risks.
• Understanding market structure and its influence on control effectiveness.
• Regulatory/control-driven remedial program experience.
• Proven ability to work with complex datasets and deliver small technical projects.
• Able to prioritise in a fast-changing environment and proactively resolve problems.
• Python, Tableau, and KDB skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate risk relating to electronic trading, including market impact and prevention of disorderly trading.
• Oversee front-office execution controls, including thresholds, processes and procedures.
• Evolve the ET control framework and the associated global programs.
• Coordinate and present at supervisory and governance forums/committees.
• Support the Equities and Fixed Income businesses, working with ET, COO, Technology and Compliance to enhance risk management.
• Perform real-time monitoring of warnings, alerts and alarms for execution controls.
• Assist in investigation and response to ET issues, internal reviews and regulatory inquiries.
