Job description

Electronic Test Technician

Location: North Greenwich

Contract: Ongoing

Salary: £14.15 per hour

We are recruiting an Electronic Test Technician for a global telecommunications company specializing in subsea telecommunications equipment and Fibre Optic technology.

The ideal candidate will have an HND/Degree in Electronics and be seeking to develop their engineering career.

Responsibilities include investigating and repairing customer returns, supporting manufacturing investigations, and assisting in writing root cause reports. The role also involves participating in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing.

Experience in analysis is beneficial, particularly in providing feedback on field failures to onsite RDI teams.

Candidates should demonstrate the ability to repair from system to component level, interpret engineering drawings, and have knowledge of working with engineering documentation.

Experience with HV circuit analysis and troubleshooting is preferred. Soldering training and familiarity with National Instruments software would be advantageous.

This is an ongoing contract role based in South East London, near North Greenwich station, starting ASAP.
