Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UK is seeking an Electronic Systems Security Consultant to shape security for transformational programmes across critical infrastructure. You will deliver design solutions, prepare briefs, manage time and budgets, and collaborate with client teams in the UK and overseas.

The role requires a degree in a relevant discipline and knowledge of electronic surveillance, access control, biometrics, CAD/BIM/REVIT, and security governance.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified, or equivalent, in appropriate discipline.
• Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
• Sound knowledge of Electronic Surveillance Systems, IDS, Access Control, SMS/VMS, security analytics and biometrics, wired and wireless networks, integrated solutions, CAD/BIM/REVIT design.
• Experience in delivering good security governance, policies and procedures to meet legislative and client requirements as well as regulatory standards e.g. NPSA, ISO, LPCB.

Responsibilities

• Undertake technical work within one of the Electronic Security Systems specialist service areas following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
• Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals for all stages of the design process.
• Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
• Work closely with the client and teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
