Job summary

Circuit Solutions is seeking an Electronic Production Operative to join our team on site. You will assemble PCBs and box builds, following assembly drawings and technical specs. Full training will be provided across SMT, PTH, and mechanical assembly.

Your day-to-day duties include precision assembly, kit checks, material movement, and maintaining high-quality workmanship in a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of electronic components and how parts look when assembled.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Strong reading/writing comprehension and basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Precision assembly of PCBs and box builds using hand/power tools and selective soldering equipment.
• Kitting, de-kitting, stock checks and material movement between assembly areas.

Circuit Solutions is looking for a dedicated Electronic Production Operative to join our team. Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs) and higher-level box builds, ensuring our clients receive high-quality, defect-free products.

Whether you are already experienced or looking to expand your skills, we provide full training across SMT, PTH, and mechanical assembly!

Key Responsibilities:

• Precision Assembly: Align, fit, and assemble components using hand/power tools, selective solder machines, and Cropmatic cropping equipment.


• Kitting & Logistics: Perform kit checks, kitting/de-kitting, stock checks, and assist in moving materials across SMT, PTH, and Mechanical assembly areas.


• Quality & Inspection: Inspect materials for defects, de-panel PCB assemblies, perform minor rework, and strictly adhere to our Quality Management System (QMS) standards.


• Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret assembly drawings, job packs, and technical specifications to determine building sequences—providing feedback to Engineering when needed.


• Daily Operations: Keep accurate written/electronic records, maintain exceptional housekeeping, follow ESD precautions on the shop floor, and flag any material or resource constraints to the supervisor early.

• Dexterity & Detail: Excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and the ability to inspect goods to high standards.


• Organisation & Communication: Strong reading/writing comprehension, computer literacy, and the ability to work effectively to strict production deadlines.


• Proactive Mindset: A team player who suggests ways to improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain health and safety.
