Job summary

Concurrent Technologies Plc in Colchester, UK, is seeking a Production Operator to assemble SBCs, perform hand soldering of PTH, and inspect finished boards on the production line. The role includes AOI supervision and strict quality checks.

You will report to the Manufacturing Manager, ensure H&S and ESD compliance, and help maintain output to schedule. This role offers growth within a skilled, supportive team and exposure to advanced electronics manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Excellent hand soldering skills; a practical test will be required at interview.
• Experience inspecting electronic assemblies (circuit boards).
• Ability to understand assembly drawing packages.
• Competent reading component markings (orientations).
• Quality conscious with attention to detail.
• IPC standards knowledge beneficial; IPC-610 training desirable.

The Role

We are seeking a Production Operator who has experience with working with electronic assemblies (circuit boards) to join our experienced production team. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager the role will involve hand soldering of Through Hole Components (PTH) into circuit boards, final inspection of sub-assembled circuit boards, and correcting any issues found or running one of our Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machines.

What are we looking for? Demonstrated knowledge and experience:
