Job summary

East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust is recruiting a Band 5 Electronic Prescribing Support Pharmacy Technician for MVCC Northwood. You will develop, configure, test, and manage the Electronic Prescribing (EP) system for Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) and support staff across wards and day case units.

You will provide helpdesk support, assist with training, and participate in dispensary duties, stock control, and patient counseling.

Qualifications

• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• NVQ3 or BTEC Cert.
• Experience in pharmacy services is essential.
• Background in WellSky dispensing systems or EP systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, test, and manage the Electronic Prescribing (EP) System for Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT).
• Provide helpdesk support and train pharmacy, nursing, and prescribing staff.
• Participate in the dispensary, manage stock control, operate the chemotherapy desk, and counsel patients on their medication.
