Job summary

MTrec Ltd is recruiting an Electronic Repair Technician to test and repair PCB assemblies to component level. You will identify root causes through testing, perform soldering and rework, and accurately document all repairs to support KPI tracking.

You will also support the Test Engineering function across multiple products, develop soldering techniques for complex PCBA repairs, and recommend process improvements to reduce PCB failures.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics sector.
• Fault find to component level.
• Experience with electronic test equipment.
• Hold an HNC or equivalent experience.
• Willing to work day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Test and repair PCB assemblies to component level.
• Identify root causes through testing.
• Soldering, rework and replacement of components.
• Accurate data entry to document repairs.
• Support Test Engineering on various products.
• Develop soldering techniques for complex PCBA.
• Suggest process improvements to reduce PCB failures.
• Highlight potential problems to colleagues.
• Support SMT with re-processing.
• Return repaired products to customers and document.
• Implement permanent corrective actions.
